The Chaplaincy Department of Evangel Hospital will hold a Pastoral Visitation Training program in October 2025 at EFCC Joy Church to equip believers with effective skills for pastoral care of patients. Christians aged 18 or above, who are passionate about providing spiritual care to patients, are welcome to join. Participants who complete 80% or more of the classes will receive a "Volunteer Training Course Attendance Certificate." Those who complete 80% or more of the classes and 5 sessions totaling 10 hours of practical training will receive a "Visitation Volunteer Training Course Certificate."

• October 3 (Friday) - Equip yourself to become a volunteer

• October 10 (Friday) - How to care for patients’ holistic needs
  Dr Billy Chui (Superintendent cum Chief Medical Executive of Evangel Hospital)
• October 17 (Friday) - How to listen effectively and respond empathetically
  Ms Genie Wong (Service Coordinator of Psychological Assessment & Counselling Centre of Evangel Hospital)
• October 24 (Friday) - How to preach the gospel to patients
  Ms Angel Lau (Chaplain In-charge of Evangel Hospital)

Application & Details:

• Target: Christians,  volunteers and staff of Evangel Hospital who are aged 18 or above
• Charge: Free of charge
