The Centre for Health Protection has pointed out that patients concurrently infected with influenza and Covid-19 are more likely to experience several complications and death. Vaccination can effectively prevent seasonal influenza and its complications, while also reducing the chances of hospitalization and death due to influenza. 

Flu Vaccine price:

$620 (doctor consultation fee is included)

• Doctor consultation fee will be deducted if the patient receives other consultations while receiving the vaccine at the same time, the vaccination will be provided at a cost of $335.
  
• An additional Government subsidy of $260 will be deducted if the patient receives other consultations while receiving the vaccine at the same time, and also belongs to the following Government Subsidized Groups*, can enjoy the vaccine at $75.
  

Government Subsidized Groups*

• All children and adolescents aged 6 months to under 18 years, or aged 18 years or above and studying at a secondary school in Hong Kong
• Student of schools participating in Seasonal Influenza Vaccination School Outreach Programme.
• Person aged 18 to 49 with chronic illness/ intellectual or physical disability
• Persons aged 50 years or above
• Pregnant Women
